Microsoft’s soon to be released operating system, Windows 8, is causing quite a stir and there are endless rumors surfacing as to which devices will be first to show off the shiny new touch enabled OS.
The latest rumor concerns Hewlett-Packard’s Slate 8 tablet. Tech site Neowin is calling the slate “The iPad challenger” as it will reportedly be thinner than Apple’s tablet, boast a 10.1in screen and offer battery life of 8-10 hours. Windows 8 will run on both x86 and ARM processors, and will be supported on PCs and tablets.
